Your Role

We are looking for a bid leader for the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) staff, focusing on aircraft maintenance equipment. In this role, you will be a key person in the work of developing bids and calculations, in close collaboration with colleagues from different sections, as well as purchasing and controlling. The bids vary in scope, from individual spare parts to complete product packages. The role offers you a wide variety and the opportunity to work on both smaller and larger projects.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and document calculation and bidding work from start to finish
• Prepare decision meetings according to the bidding process
• Support colleagues in calculation work
• Compile calculations for larger projects
• Develop bids
• Contribute to common tasks within the department

Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is responsible for providing our customers and end-users with the right equipment to enable both preventive and corrective maintenance of aircraft, helicopters, and associated systems. Operations are conducted in Linköping, Arboga, and Östersund, covering everything from technical support to the delivery of complete maintenance solutions.

The position can be based in any of these locations, and travel between them may occur as needed.

You will become part of the Aeronautics business area, which develops, manufactures, and supports world-class flight systems for civil and military use. Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is engaged, self-driven, and thrives in a dynamic and business-oriented environment. You are solution-oriented, structured, and have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with different parts of the organization. You take responsibility for your tasks and find it easy to create order even in administrative contexts.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• University education or equivalent experience in calculation and bidding work
• Experience in leading and coordinating processes across departmental boundaries
• Very good computer skills and good knowledge of the Office suite
• Fluent language skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
